Scarosso Shoes at the ACT N°1 Spring Summer 2027 Runway

Scarosso Shoes at the ACT N°1 Spring Summer 2027 Runway

For its Spring Summer 2027 collection, ACT N°1 returned to the familiar language of the everyday wardrobe. Under the direction of Luca Lin, shirts, tailoring, trousers, and dresses were deconstructed and reconstructed through new proportions, fluid construction, and unexpected layering.

Presented in a romantic garden concealed within a Milanese courtyard, the collection explored the relationship between clothing, body, and movement. Plants, filtered light, and natural surroundings created a serene setting for garments designed to move, adapt, and reveal new dimensions as they were worn.

Scarosso provided the footwear for the runway, contributing a refined foundation to ACT N°1’s contemporary silhouettes. The shoes supported the collection’s central balance between structure and softness, combining timeless Italian design with the ease required by a modern wardrobe.

Timeless codes, reconsidered

Timeless codes, reconsidered

Luca Lin’s approach begins with familiar pieces, but gives them a different logic. Tailoring was enlarged and loosened, shirts were reworked, and classic garments were transformed through folds, twists, and adaptable constructions.

This spirit was reflected in the footwear selection. The polished black calfskin of the Johnny monk strap brought a formal note to the collection, while its relaxed construction, elasticated heel, and lightweight rubber sole introduced a sense of flexibility. The Julian offered a similar reinterpretation through a single-buckle monk design, fringed strap, and brogue detailing—traditional references approached with a softer, more contemporary attitude.

Their presence on the runway echoed ACT N°1’s wider interest in revisiting established wardrobe codes without losing their original character. Formality became less rigid, and classic details were made relevant to movement and everyday wear.

Adaptability was one of the defining ideas of the collection. Garments could change shape around the body, offering different ways to be worn and allowing individuality to emerge through movement.

The Scarosso selection extended this versatility across the runway. The Apollo sandals, with their wide leather bands and adjustable square buckles, introduced a lighter, more open expression of summer dressing. Their straightforward construction complemented the collection’s relaxed proportions and connection to the outdoor setting.

The Jude and Morgan boat shoes brought another dimension to the story. Traditionally associated with sailing and summer movement, both styles carry a sporty ease through their leather lacing systems and contrasting rubber soles. Jude, in dark brown oiled nubuck with a honey-coloured sole, added warmth and texture, while Morgan offered a more tonal interpretation in brown calfskin with a dark brown sole.

The Atlas travel slipper also contributed to this sense of relaxed elegance. With its clean slip-on silhouette, premium leather construction, and flexible sole, it reflected the collection’s focus on comfort, versatility, and movement from one setting to another.

Together, these styles reinforced ACT N°1’s ability to move between polished tailoring, casual ease, and a distinctly summery sensibility.

A shared appreciation for craftsmanship

Around 80% of the ACT N°1 collection was made from deadstock fabrics, while overstock mother-of-pearl buttons and irregular details added individuality to the garments. The result was a collection that found new value in existing materials, transforming the familiar without overcomplicating it.

Scarosso’s contribution followed a related philosophy. Each pair was made in Italy by expert craftsmen, combining traditional footwear codes with contemporary construction, lightweight materials, and practical comfort. From the polished monk straps to the fisherman-inspired sandals, boat shoes, and travel slippers, the footwear gave the runway looks a coherent and versatile foundation.

The collaboration between ACT N°1 and Scarosso was ultimately a meeting of two approaches to modern dressing: one focused on transforming the silhouette, the other on refining the details that support it. On the Spring Summer 2027 runway, the result was a wardrobe that felt sophisticated yet instinctive—where clothes, shoes, body, and environment came together in natural movement.
