Here at Scarosso, we always keep our finger on the pulse of outstanding Italian companies that believe in our values and share our philosophy of quality. We’re pleased to present you with a photo-diary of our day spent with Frank Conforti, the owner of the historic Fratelli Conforti company, which has been operating in the textile sector since 1948.

Frank welcomed us to the new headquarters in Montemurlo, close to Prato, where thousands of metres of fine fabrics come and go every day, sourced from the stocks of the best and most famous Italian and European designers. We had the honour of entering his world, starting with a tour of his classic cars. Frank’s humour was the cherry on the cake of a perfect day!

Frank chose to pair the William Tan Suede tassel loafers with his seersucker suit, showing us the details he can’t do without. And what about our Stefano Black style paired with a red velvet suit, toned down by a simple handkerchief tied around the neck? A touch of class that Frank knows all too well. Our penny loafers emphasise Frank’s elegance, while he reveals the secrets of his gentlemanly style. We cycled through the huge warehouse among the rows of fabrics that symbolise Italian fashion. We could only marvel when faced with such beauty.

Frank agreed with us too. Today more than ever, loafers have become an essential piece in every wardrobe. The penny loafer style represents a classic and unfailingly elegant choice, while the tassel loafers are sure to enhance more casual looks. All that remains is to be inspired by the company’s style and history. Thank you Frank, until next time!
